Hi, iam Carolyn Hysom, Enjoy your time-off from me!

Oh man, did Tony Romo break his collarbone? That’s the million dollar question on everyone’s mind right now. It sure looks like it - he was in a lot of pain after that hit and had to be carted off the field. If it is broken, it’ll be a huge blow for the Cowboys; they were already struggling this season and now they’ll have to make do without their star quarterback. Let’s hope for the best, but brace ourselves for the worst!

Did Romo Break His Collarbone? [Solved]

Well, Romo had a rough go of it back in 2010 when he broke his collarbone during a Monday night game against the Giants. That injury cost him the last 10 games of that season. At first, he was thinking about getting a metal plate put in to help support his clavicle, but thankfully he didn’t have to go through with it.

  1. Injury: On August 25th, 2016, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered a broken collarbone in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks.

  2. Diagnosis: Romo was diagnosed with a fractured left clavicle and was expected to miss 8-10 weeks of the regular season.

  3. Treatment: Romo underwent surgery to repair the fracture and began rehabilitation shortly after his injury.

  4. Return: After missing 10 weeks of the regular season, Romo returned to action in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens on November 20th, 2016.

  5. Impact: Despite returning from injury, Romo was unable to lead his team to victory as they lost 27-17 and he threw three interceptions in his first game back from injury.

Yeah, Romo did break his collarbone. It happened during a game and it was pretty bad. He’s been out of action ever since. Poor guy!
