Feeling guilty as sin for what he’d done to Arishem and his fellow Eternals, Ikaris took off, determined to end it all by flying into the sun.
Origin of Ikaris: Ikaris is a fictional character from the Marvel Comics universe, first appearing in Eternals #1 (July 1976). He is an Eternal, a race of super-powered beings created by the Celestials.
Powers and Abilities: Ikaris possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, and longevity. He also has the ability to fly and manipulate cosmic energy for various effects such as creating force fields or projecting energy blasts.
Sun Exposure: In Eternals #7 (January 1977), Ikaris was exposed to intense solar radiation while attempting to save his fellow Eternals from destruction at the hands of their enemies, the Deviants.
Survival: Despite being exposed to extreme levels of radiation that would have killed any normal human being, Ikaris survived due to his superhuman durability and healing factor which allowed him to recover quickly from his injuries.
Yeah, Ikaris survived the sun! He’s a tough guy, so it wasn’t too much of a challenge for him. He managed to make it through without any major issues. Phew!
