Well, you don’t see it every day, but female Marines are now allowed to sport facial hair! That’s right - no more having to hide those mustaches and beards. It’s a big step forward for gender equality in the military, and it’s about time! Whoopee! This new policy is sure to make a lot of female Marines happy. After all, why should they have to go through the hassle of shaving when their male counterparts don’t? Now they can just let their facial hair grow out naturally - what a relief!

Well, for the guys, they gotta shave - that’s just the way it is. But for the ladies, there ain’t no policy on facial or body hair - so they don’t have to worry about getting rid of it. Bottom line: no one’s gonna make ’em do anything!
Grooming Standards: Female Marines are required to maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, including keeping their facial hair groomed and trimmed.
Hair Length: Female Marines must keep their hair cut above the collar, ears, and eyebrows.
Facial Hair: Female Marines are not allowed to have any visible facial hair, including sideburns or beards.
Mustaches: Mustaches are not permitted for female Marines; however, they may have neatly trimmed upper lip hair that does not extend beyond the corners of the mouth or below the bottom lip line.
Eyebrows: Eyebrows must be kept neat and trimmed; any unibrow is prohibited for female Marines in uniform or in civilian attire while on duty or in public view representing the Marine Corps.
