Oh man, it’s so dark out here! I’m walking through the woods and all I can see are deer. It’s like they’re everywhere! I guess that’s what happens when the sun goes down - you gotta watch out for these guys. Anyways, it’s a bit eerie but kinda cool at the same time. Who knows what else is lurking in the shadows? Yikes!

Wow! Deer have amazing night vision, thanks to their eyes having a ton of rods, an oval pupil that’s like a camera lens, and the tapetum lucidum - that’s the tissue that acts like a mirror and amplifies light. That’s why their eyes glow when you shine a light on ’em in the dark. Pretty cool!
