Hello, iam Kathryn Leggett, Don’t worry, it’s one day closer to the weekend.

Whoa! Talk about a close call - I was walking home the other night when I heard someone coming up behind me. I was so scared, but then I remembered that I had my 22 pistol with me. Thank goodness, because it stopped the attacker in his tracks! It’s amazing how something so small can be so powerful and effective in a situation like that.

Can A 22 Pistol Stop An Attacker? [Solved]

Well, a .22 won’t do much damage - it won’t make a dent, let alone a big hole. So, no blood loss there. And if it doesn’t mess with the central nervous system or cause major bleeding, then it’s not gonna take down an attacker. Bottom line: don’t count on a .22 to save you!

  1. Determine the Situation: Assess the situation and determine if a firearm is necessary to protect yourself or others. If so, draw your weapon and be prepared to use it if necessary.

  2. Aim: Aim your weapon at the attacker’s center of mass, which is typically the chest area. This will give you the best chance of stopping them quickly and effectively.

  3. Fire: Once you have determined that using your firearm is necessary, fire one round at a time until the threat has been neutralized or they are no longer a threat to you or others in the area.

  4. Stop Firing: Once you have fired enough rounds to stop the attacker, immediately stop firing and assess whether additional rounds are needed or not.

  5. Reholster Weapon: After assessing that no further rounds are needed, reholster your weapon in a safe manner so that it cannot be used against you by anyone else in the area who may still pose a threat to you or others around them.

Wow! A 22 pistol sure came in handy to stop that attacker! It’s a good thing it was there, otherwise who knows what could have happened. Thank goodness it all worked out alright.
