From their incredible accuracy to their ability to stay cool under pressure, they’re a force to be reckoned with. Are There Any Female Snipers? [Solved]
Wow! The U.S. Army just made history - the first female soldier graduated from the Army Sniper Course at Fort Benning on November 5th. That’s awesome news for long-range precision shooters!
Lyudmila Pavlichenko: Known as the most successful female sniper of World War II, Pavlichenko was credited with 309 kills during her time in the Soviet military.
Roza Shanina: A Soviet sniper during World War II, Shanina was credited with 54 confirmed kills and is believed to have killed many more.
Nadezhda Popova: Another Soviet sniper from World War II, Popova was credited with 36 confirmed kills and is believed to have killed many more.
Lyudmila Kharlamova: A Russian sniper who served in Chechnya during the First Chechen War, Kharlamova was credited with over 100 kills and earned the nickname “Lady Death” for her skill as a marksman.
Simo Häyhä: Often referred to as “The White Death” due to his white camouflage suit, Häyhä served in Finland during the Winter War of 1939-1940 and is believed to have killed over 500 enemy soldiers using a Finnish variant of the Mosin–Nagant rifle.
Female snipers are badass! They’re highly trained and have the skills to take out their targets from long distances. Plus, they can do it all while staying hidden. It’s no wonder they’ve earned a reputation as some of the toughest soldiers around. They’re like ninjas with guns!
