Hello, iam Renee Shull, Have a Rock-and-Roll Day!

Ah, wintertime! It’s that time of year when the temperatures drop and our four-legged friends need a little extra TLC. With temperatures dipping into the low 60s, it’s important to make sure our pups are kept warm and cozy. Here are some tips for keeping your pup safe in cold weather.

Are Dogs Cold At 64? [Solved]

Cool to cold temperatures are generally safe for your pup, as long as they don’t dip below 45 degrees. Anything between 50-60 is great, but if it gets too hot - 85+ - you’ll want to keep a close watch on them. So just keep an eye out and you’ll be good!

  1. Exercise: Regular exercise is essential for keeping your dog healthy and happy. Aim for at least 30 minutes of activity per day, such as walks, playtime, or fetch.

  2. Diet: Feed your dog a balanced diet that is appropriate for their age and size. Avoid overfeeding and provide plenty of fresh water throughout the day.

  3. Grooming: Regular grooming helps keep your dog’s coat healthy and free from mats or tangles. Brush their fur regularly to remove dirt and debris, as well as to distribute natural oils throughout the coat for a glossy shine.

  4. Temperature: Dogs are sensitive to extreme temperatures, so make sure they have access to shade in hot weather and warm shelter in cold weather when outdoors or traveling with you in the car or on a plane. The ideal temperature range for dogs is between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit (15-27 degrees Celsius).

Dogs can get cold too! When the temperature drops below 64 degrees, it’s time to break out the sweaters and booties for your pup. Don’t worry though, they’ll be cozy in no time!
